Building the Infrastructure Behind Renewable Energy

Large-scale solar projects depend on much more than photovoltaic modules and electrical systems. Reliable internal access roads, project periphery roads, boundary protection, and equipment-related civil infrastructure are essential to establishing an organized and functional project environment.

Through these packages, Aaraa Infrastructure is contributing to these foundational elements of the 180 MWp Leap Green project. Our scope demonstrates our capability to undertake multiple civil packages within a renewable-energy development while coordinating execution requirements across different work fronts.

Approximately 33.47 km of Road Infrastructure

One of the major components of the awarded work is the development of road infrastructure within and around the project. The documented orders include:

  • 28.47 km of 2.5 m-wide periphery road: Divided across multiple purchase orders, including 14,752 metres under PO 5100004412 and 6,878 metres under PO 5100004411, along with additional quantities documented in the associated work order packages.
  • 5 km of 3 m-wide internal road: Includes two separate 2,500 m packages for 3 m-wide internal roads, together representing 5 km of internal road infrastructure.
Total Documented Road Network

33.47 km of Site & Periphery Roads

5 km Boundary Fencing Package & Installation

Another significant component of the engagement is the project's boundary fencing infrastructure. The purchase orders document a 5,000-metre fencing package, including precast boundary-wall accessories and associated fencing components with Y-shaped angles and six rows of barbed wire.

Complementing the material supply, Aaraa Infrastructure has a separate installation package covering:

  • Precast slab fencing installation (5,000 metres).
  • Y-shaped angle fencing installation with barbed wire line tensioning.
  • Associated site civil execution and alignment.
  • Schedule-driven timely completion with commercial milestone incentives.

Critical Civil Foundation Infrastructure

In addition to roads and fencing, one of the associated work orders covers ICR (Inverter Control Room) civil foundation works for the renewable-energy project. The scope includes foundation-related construction and associated civil works for project equipment and infrastructure across two blocks, reinforcing Aaraa Infrastructure's capabilities beyond conventional road construction.

Engineering, Execution and Site Coordination

Delivering infrastructure at a large renewable-energy site requires close coordination between engineering, construction, materials, manpower, and project schedules. For Aaraa Infrastructure, this means approaching each package with a structured focus on:

Planning → Mobilisation → Execution → Quality Control → Schedule Management
